Eye scratched or still something in there?

my eye is killing me, it is litterly hurting, it feels like something is in there, i flushed it all day. so i dont know if its scratched. should i go to the hospital or doctor. anyone this has happened to. what did they do. or do i wait it out, although its painfull. thanks
