If you were invited to a council of differing spiritual viewpoints, would you attend?

If you'd attend, would you go with an open mind or heart? Or would you be prepared to convince others of your position? Would you be comfortable in the mix of "differences?" Would you expect an outcome to come about as a group,? A democratic one or a consensus? Would you be upbeat as you entered the great hall? Or perhaps wary? Would you attend the shared feast afterwards to celebrate the coming together?
