Can I have more than one email name on Yahoo mail?

I want to not be identifide so I'd like an email address that does not show my actual name as well as my one that does. I signed up to Hot Mail typying in a different name as my email name and when I sent a tester to myself it said the mail was from me and then it showed both the sender - me - and then the email address with the other me on it. I don't get it!
