Best warm outerwear for keeping warm AND to wear over a blazer/suit?

I am looking for something to wear over a suit that is a WARM and WEATHERPROOF jacket. Thinking Marmot or North Face. I like jackets that have a layered component (i.e. fleece that zips out). Need it to not be too bulky. HELP! FASHION HELP!
