How do you find out your network pword? please help!?

so i got a new laptop. it works fine, but i cannot connect to the internet. when i try to connect to my home network, it requires a pword. and i totally forgot the pword to my network. im really computer illiterate. if someone could please tell me what to do, i would be SO appreciative. thank you!
