Anyone else got thoughts on experiencing an "anonymous" prophesy?

Yes, I have experienced it. What you are saying lines up with the word of God. All prophecy should. One of the reasons we have the Holy Spirit is to convict us of sin, also. You are on the right path. Reading His word will also do what the prophesy did. Keep seeking God, friend. He will give you the strength to stand against the world or the evil one, when you are tempted to give in. Hopefully you have accepted Christ - that's where the power stems from.
